Rebecca BIRCHBY & Obediah CLAYTON (her second husband)
Rebecca a widow, married a second time to bachelor Obediah CLAYTON, on 26 June 1837 in All Saints, Wainfleet, Lincolnshire. The date of the marriage was recorded in the marriage register as 1836 however this was one month before Robert died. I contacted the transcriber of the record and he rechecked the entry for the marriage and discovered that it was recorded after some marriages for 1837 so the vicar recorded 1836 instead of 1837.
Rebecca's new husband, Obediah CLAYTON was born about 1811 in Horsham, Sussex. He was also a Tanner.
